TheyHateP2P.com collects the faces of all those people that, in our (questionable) opinion, don’t just limit themselves to not liking peer-to-peer, but have given in to superficial and misinforming statements, detesting p2p, its development and probably everyone who likes it.
We want who are persistently objecting to P2P technology, who war against free-traders and free sharing of ideas, to take responsibility for their words and convictions. So, to prevent those statements from sinking into oblivion while overwhelmed by the endless stream of information on the Internet, we collect and fix them on these pages as a memento.
TheyHateP2P.com doesn’t sell cock-and-bull stories. Every statement has the relevant source attached.
There are so many weird people who exist out there, therefore we’ll just try to list the angriest ones.
The question is : Why do they hate P2P so much if it could without a doubt boost their business? It’s a real enigma. Maybe we should keep in mind their names and faces the next time we spend money on music, cinema, or other things they are associated with.
It’s also meant to be a way - somewhat humorous as well as provocative - to show that there are many thoughtful people who focus on how new trends linked to file-sharing on peer-to-peer networks are judged, and on how they’re trying to address the issue of the inadequacy of traditional content-distribution systems in digital era.
It’s an invitation extended to everybody, so that people try to approach these issues in a constructive, modern way, as opposed to the anachronistic and noxious approach we consider distinctive of the persons we’ll deal with.

It is not the intent of THP2P.com to defame the people or organizations mentioned here, but merely to disseminate information.
